How To Make a Blog With Self Hosting

Submitted by admin on Wednesday, 23 December 20093 Comments

How to create a blog self-hosting, used his many tutorial create a blog that describes a free blog creation, like a blog on blogger, a blog on wordpress and also create a blog in multiply.

However, actually creating such a blog that is not how to create a blog that is expected by the reader, casual reader of his blog to find tutorials as blogs that use their own domain such as. Com,. Net,. Org etc., and not a blog free like wordpress and blogger who use subdomains.

Actually, by using blogger can also be used with my own domain (TLD domain name. Com,. Net etc.) but we need to do blogger domain settings first.

To use a blogger blog that I will discuss in the next article, and in this article I will discuss how to create a blog like this blog (Viewmyhosting.com). In the tutorial to make this blog I will present how to create a blog that easy, because this time I will discuss it with fantastico blog so that in the present tutorial is not difficult.

OK, Here are the steps in making blog:

1. Rent hosting and domain purchase in advance, for rent hosting (Cpanel) and buy a domain (. Com,. Net etc) you can buy in some hosting providers such as:godaddy.com,Hostgator.com, etc., that hosting I have ever used. After you order and pay for hosting and domain, then later in the email we’ll send a password and username to enter the domain of our panel and also a username and password to log into cPanel (hosting) we are. For example, you order a domain name and make rent Viewmyhosting.com shared hosting in Hostgator.com.

2. Once we get a domain (Viewmyhosting.com) and rent an Hostgator.com hosting in shared hosting, then you can login to your domain panel Hostgator.com through the website, where you select the domain that you’ve bought, and then we started setting “Name Server”, then how do I set the name servers? it is the way we see the email that was sent to our email, there was usually  name server we can use, or can be asked to CS (Customer Service) of the name servers it will be set up. His usual name servers used as NSxx.Hostgator.Com, NSxx.Hostgator.Com. after his name of our server settings, then later with his own name servers will be changed.

And later in the email you will enter an email from the hosting provider will send information about passwords, login name and URL hosting (CPANEL).

3. LOGIN to CPanel, for the first view it will look like the image below:

cPanel

4. Select Fantastico, like image below..

Fantastico

5. Select wordpress fantastico section, to more clearly please see picture below

Install Fantastico

6. Then after select wordpress, so now we continue with the wordpress install on our cpanel. As the picture below.

Install Fantastico

7. Then to install wordpress, we can determine the directory where you installed, for example, Viewmyhosting.com, or  can also in the directory Viewmyhosting.com / Blog, its main directory is the URL that will be used to access our blog, so if you want to wear Viewmyhosting.com the URL that will be installed wordpress is Viewmyhosting.com. Then click “INSTALL WORDPRESS”

Fantastico WordPress

FINISH!!, To the initial view you can get the standard display as below.

WordPress

when you’re done then we can edit the template we will use, just search on google with the keyword “Download free wordpress template” Ok
