How to Setting Webmail in cPanel

There are two common applications used webmail is available for use to access webmail, Horde, and SquirrelMail. There are three initial choices, with the previous NeoMail cPanel terminated with the new version because of security problems and the server.

You can access your Webmail without going through cPanel by using one of the following addresses:

* Http://www.yourdomain.com/webmail
* Http: //www.yourdomain.com:2095
* Https://yourdomain.com: 2096

Whatever method you use, you always end up with a secure connection.

You will have a choice of two webmail programs you want to use, Horde or SquirrelMail, as well as several other options such as changing passwords, forwarding, etc. If you wish to set up the address that bypasses this screen and take you directly to either Horde or SquirrelMail, making subdomains such as webmail.yourdomain.com, and then directed to one of the following:

* For the Horde, redirect to https: //www.yourdomain.com:2096/horde/index.php
* For SquirrelMail, Redirect to https://www.yourdomain.com.au:2096/3rdparty/squirrelmail/index.php

Forward and remove

If you set a forwarder from cPanel to an existing mailbox, he left a copy of the email on the server. This can be used for quote allocated to your account and may need to log in to webmail to manually delete the email. This guide shows you how to open email accounts that forward email to secondary email address and automatically delete them from the server.
How to forward e-mail

1. Create a new e-mail account in cPanel.
2. Login to your e-mail account at http://www.yourdomain.com/webmail (replace yourdomain with your domain name actually)
3. From the webmail options page (showing Horde / SquirrelMail), click one of the links footer Forwarding Options.
4. Enter a secondary e-mail address to have all e-mail forwarded to, then click Add Forwarder.

How to delete e-mail from the server

1. From the webmail options page, click on the link footer Aging.
2. Enter the number of days to retain e-mail on the server, and then click Send.

This is useful for checking e-mail from webmail if access to the secondary address is currently not available. 2 days is generally a good guide.

You are now finished, all new e-mail sent to your e-mail will be forwarded to the secondary address and will be automatically deleted from the server after the time allotted.
